With preparations nearly finalized, the junior class invites students to experience an Enchanted Forest this coming Saturday at Brand New Church.

Single tickets are $30 and couples are $50. The last day to buy prom tickets is Thursday at 3:00 pm.

Attendees should prepare to walk into a whimsical setting with flowers from floor to ceiling and delicious finger food for everyone to eat.

“The decorations are gonna be really pretty, and I can’t wait to see everything finished. I’m excited to experience my first prom here in America,” Jil Menne, foreign exchange student from Germany said..

The festivities begin at 8:00 pm. King and Queen will be announced around 9:30 pm.

“King and Queen will be selected from people who haven’t been on a court before,” Kylie Moad, prom sponsor, said.

The recent death of junior, Isaac Cartwright inspired some additional activities at this year’s event. Students have been encouraged to wear purple ties or corsages. He will also be remembered with the release of a purple lantern near the end of the evening.

“I think it is a really nice remembrance for someone so special to so many at our school.” Carol Bundsgaard, journalism teacher, said.
